- download a save manager! Here’s the one I personally use, but any will do: Elden Ring Save Transfer 1.1;
- download the save file of the character you want to copy;
- open the save manager and drag the save with the desired character you want to copy into the “Copy from” field;
- navigate to your sl2 file located in this directory: C:/Users/NAME HERE/AppData/Roaming/EldenRing/STEAM ID;
- create a backup of your ERD0000.sl2 somewhere on your computer for safe storage;
- delete the bak file of ERD0000.sl2;
- drag the sl2 file from the previously mentioned directory into the save manager and copy the character.
